Wellcome to the CompSci.ca Wiki

This is Wiki is for anything realting to Computer Science, the site CompSci.ca, any Tech realted stuff or anything you whont realy that is with in reason. It is free to edit for every one as long as they respect others and the site. We wellcome any new pages you can think of or anything you can add to our existing ones (incuding this one!).


CompSci.ca Current News

Big updates are coming over the xmass beark, starting with new software installed on the server like this wiki, a compsci.ca blog and much more. Tho due to thess upgrades the site maybe down for some time during the beark. Hopfully everything will go over well and we will have a brand new verson to come back to in the new year.

In other news there are serveral virues going around that may slow down the site, espality realting to the mail server. The 1st one effects phpbb installs and is slowing down the site sreaching for expoites, tho this virus can not aucarly harm the site due to our scripts but it's trying could slow us down a bit. The 2nd is yet another e-mail based virus witch is overwellming our hosts mail server making all e-mail based activitys on our site dealyed up to a few hours.

How to use the CompSci.ca Wiki

The CompSci.ca Wiki works like many other popular wikis and is self expliantory for the most part. Tho below are some tips on it's use:

Adding a page

1. Go to the page you want the new page to be linked from.

2. Click on the edit tab to edit the page. Add a link to the page you wish to create. The way to create a link is to place the new page's title in brackets. [ [ Page title ] ] (wiht out the spaces)

3. Save the page. Your link will show up as a red link which, when clicked, will bring you to an edit page for your new page.

4. Edit and save your new page.
