Japanese cartoons, or anime to the elite is a style of animation which involves as little animation as possible. Instead, the animator uses fancy CGI techniques such as motion lines and the all famous panning camera to capture the feeling of nautiousness and laziness.
Japanese cartoon characters features are often very exaggerated, as the style originally took inspiration from Disney's famous characters such as Betty Boop and Mickey Mouse.
